Yeah sounds like easy. I think an average person can row 1000 meters (1km) around 5-6 minutes. My problem was: I can’t row for more than 3 minutes. I was like:-” Forget it, I’m done with this”.Most of the time either I got bored or couldn’t feel I can do it more. These days, we all suffering the same problem. We can’t concentrate.

You can see none of them i can’t make it 1,000 meters.
So, how I hack then?
It was a small tweak. But it worked out. Let me share it with you guys. Instead out of starting a new workout with time goal this time 1,000 meters goal.
Pretty much, I started to row 1000 meters and while I was rowing I can see how many more meters left. 900... 800... 500.. 100.. then completed.

Victory: 🏆
I didn’t even know how many minutes it took me to complete 1,000 meters rowing. All I was caring to complete my very first 1k.
Maybe we should change our mental models to reach our goal. For example in this case:
I’m the type of person who cares more meters instead of counting every second. I figured out what I care about and what’s most important to me.
You need to know yourself while whatever you are doing. It’s all about trial and error. It took me around 10+ rowing sessions. Happy rowing!
Congrats Aykut! Focus on the right technique in the beginning. Push, not pull !
Congrats!
